METAL KILLS: The Sport of Western Viking Fighting is a feature length film - an inquiry into the subculture and personal lives of several members who participate in a coed combat sport, fighting with metal weapons with very little protection. There are no size, gender or weight requirements. The fighters go off the grid for several weeks in the summer, living in Viking Era camps, dressed in Viking Era clothing, with no electronics. The film is set in various locations in Denmark, shot between 2017 and 2025. The film is currently in post-production.
